Understanding Enagic, Kangen Water & The Business Model

I’m Brodie Salnitro — also known as Brodie Nitro. I’ve been building an Enagic business since 2017, and over that time I’ve heard almost every opinion possible about Enagic, Kangen Water and the business opportunity.

Some people have built successful businesses. Some simply love the products. Others have had poor experiences or describe the model using words like MLM, pyramid scheme or scam. After nearly a decade, my view is simple: Enagic is a business vehicle. It does not create success for someone automatically.

The work still involves social media, personal branding, content creation, AI, marketing, sales, communication, leadership and team building. The vehicle matters, but the person still has to learn how to drive it.

8 Years Inside Enagic and Kangen Water — honest interview with Brodie Salnitro

What Is Enagic and Is It a Legitimate Company?

Enagic is a Japanese company with more than 50 years in water ionisation technology and offices around the world, including Australia. Its machines are more than simple filters: they filter water and use electrolysis to create different types of ionised water.

The company manufactures the products, manages the distributor relationship and publishes the compensation structure. That is separate from the way any individual distributor chooses to market or explain the opportunity.

When I first looked at Enagic, I looked at the business side before I properly understood the products. I was working in construction and struggling financially, so the opportunity caught my attention first.

Over time I developed a much greater appreciation for the machines and why people choose them. That is my personal experience, not medical advice. Anyone considering a product should research it independently and decide whether it suits their own needs.

Legitimacy does not mean every distributor will have the same experience or result. It means there is a real company, a physical product and a defined sales structure that can be examined before somebody makes a decision.

How Does The Enagic Business Model Actually Work?

Enagic uses a direct-sales distribution model. Independent distributors can earn commissions from qualifying product sales under the company’s published compensation plan. Personal sales, organisational sales, rank and the commission structure can all affect an individual outcome.

Because the model allows distributors to build an organisation, people often focus only on who introduced whom. That misses the practical point: the compensation still follows the plan and qualifying product volume, while every distributor remains responsible for building their own skills and activity.

You don’t earn money simply because somebody joins underneath you. Your sponsor doesn’t automatically become successful because you joined them. Joining a successful person doesn’t automatically make you successful either.

Different distributors bring different skills, circumstances and levels of effort. Enagic provides the company, products and compensation structure. The distributor still has to learn how to drive it.

A good sponsor can provide experience, examples and support. They cannot guarantee customers, complete the conversations for somebody else or remove the normal uncertainty involved in learning a business.

That distinction matters.

What Do I Actually Teach People Who Build An Enagic Business With Me?

I teach the practical skills I had to learn while building online. Not just how to talk about a product, but how to become a better communicator and a more capable business owner.

When I started, I did not arrive with a polished personal brand, a large audience or years of online marketing experience. I had to learn.

  • Social media
  • Personal branding
  • AI
  • Content creation
  • Sales and communication
  • Marketing
  • Leadership and team building
  • Mindset and personal responsibility

That learning is supported through training, team calls, Zoom sessions, community support, in-person events and mentorship. The goal is to become more skilled.

Training gives somebody a place to begin. Calls and events create opportunities to ask questions, see examples and receive feedback. Community can make the process less isolating. Then you have to use it.

But I can’t do the work for you.

Why Are Kangen Water Machines Expensive?

Price is relative to what somebody values and what they are comparing. Enagic machines are positioned as premium, long-term appliances that filter and ionise water rather than as ordinary countertop filters.

A premium product also changes the economics of a direct-sales business. It can require fewer sales than a very low-ticket product, but it also means the decision deserves careful research rather than pressure.

Expensive does not automatically mean suitable, and it does not remove the need to understand what the machine does, the warranty, ongoing use and the alternatives available. A purchase should make sense as a product decision before anybody treats it as a business decision.

For me personally, hydration, health, reducing plastic and creating a lower-toxin lifestyle matter. That is my perspective. It does not replace independent product research or professional health advice.

Why Do Some Enagic Distributors Make Money While Others Don’t?

Some distributors build profitable businesses. Some make little or no money. Timing, market conditions, personal circumstances, mentorship, financial position and existing skills all influence the journey.

The people who progress tend to become more capable. They don’t just “believe harder.” They learn.

They ask better questions. They watch the training. They show up to events. They speak with people, receive feedback and stay in the process long enough to understand what they are doing.

They improve communication, social media, content, sales, follow-up, product understanding, relationships, leadership and their ability to handle rejection. They learn to use tools such as AI responsibly. Those capabilities compound when somebody stays consistent.

Someone with sales experience may begin in a different place from somebody who has never posted online. Somebody with savings may face different pressure from somebody who needs immediate income. That is why individual stories should never be presented as a promise of what another person will earn.

Starting an Enagic business doesn’t make you successful. Training and support can shorten the learning curve, but they cannot remove the need to practise, communicate and follow through.

I can show people what worked for me. But I can’t do the work for you.

Over time the goal is not simply to be a more hopeful person pursuing an opportunity. It is to become a better-equipped person pursuing one.

What Do You Actually Get When You Start An Enagic Business With Me?

Buying an Enagic product and building an Enagic business are two different things.

Enagic provides the products, the distributor relationship and the compensation plan. Through me and the Online Empires community, the focus is training, systems, team calls, Zoom sessions, mentorship, practical skill development, support, experience and feedback.

The support is there to help somebody understand what to do next, review what they are creating and avoid learning every lesson alone. It is not a promise that each person will move at the same pace.

My job as a mentor is to help shorten the learning curve.

Good mentorship should make you increasingly capable of creating success for yourself. It should not make you dependent on somebody else to make every decision or complete every task.

Over time, somebody should understand their message, their audience, their follow-up and the standards they want to bring to their own business. Support matters most when it helps a person take greater responsibility.

Enagic is the vehicle we’re applying those skills to. My job is to help you become better at driving it.

Is This Business Model For Everyone?

No.

And I think saying that openly is important.

It is probably not suited to somebody who dislikes learning, does not want to communicate, requires guaranteed immediate income, expects a mentor to build everything for them or has no interest in developing new skills.

It may suit somebody who wants greater autonomy, time freedom, location freedom, income potential and the chance to develop useful capabilities.

That freedom comes with responsibility. There is no manager deciding when to work, but there is also no manager making sure the work gets done.

You don’t need to already be good at social media.
You don’t need sales experience.
You don’t need thousands of followers.

You need to be willing to become good.

What I can’t give somebody is hunger. If you’ve got that part, we can work on almost everything else.

Why I Still Stand Behind Enagic After Nearly A Decade

For me, Enagic was the thing that worked. I still use the products, believe in the company and respect the compensation structure. That view comes after years of seeing good periods and difficult ones.

I have watched people succeed and watched people quit. I have made mistakes, developed skills, supported teams, heard criticism and stayed through changing market conditions. The business also gave me community, friendships and opportunities to grow as a leader.

Staying for this long does not mean pretending every experience is positive or every criticism is wrong. It means I have had enough time in the business to understand both the potential and the responsibility that come with it.

I learned that enthusiasm is not a substitute for competence. Communication matters. Follow-up matters. Leadership matters. The way people are treated matters. Consistency matters when the initial excitement disappears.

I don’t believe anybody should follow my view blindly. Read the company material. Read independent criticism. Look at the products, the business model and realistic earnings information.

Read it.

Then read what I have to say.

Then make your own decision.

The outcome was never handed to me. The structure gave me something to work with, mentors helped me understand the path and successful people showed me what was possible. None of that removed my responsibility to learn and act.

Enagic gave me a vehicle.Mentorship gave me a roadmap.Other successful people gave me examples to model. But I still had to drive.

For me personally, this business changed my life — and that’s why I still stand behind it today.

This isn’t a lottery ticket. It’s a business model — and like any business, the outcome depends heavily on the individual.
The people who succeed are usually the ones asking questions, watching training, showing up to events and staying consistent long enough to develop skills.
You can eventually out-earn the person who introduced you to the business. That’s one of the reasons I respected the Enagic model.

Frequently Asked Questions About Enagic, Kangen Water & Building An Online Business.

Enagic operates through direct sales, often described as multi-level marketing. That label alone does not answer whether an opportunity is right for somebody. The important distinction is that commissions are connected to qualifying product sales under Enagic’s published 8-Point compensation plan, not guaranteed simply because someone joins.

Anyone researching this should read Enagic’s current compensation information and earnings disclosure, understand the difference between product sales and recruitment, and review independent guidance such as the FTC’s consumer advice. No earnings are guaranteed.
